This is the first book about the phytoplankton community of homestead ponds in the central coast of Bangladesh. It will help to perceive the natural productivity for aquaculture potentials and importance of phytoplankton as direct sources of food, biological productivity, ecological indicators, habitat characterization and water quality. This book covers the diversity, composition, abundance and community structure of phytoplankton and their environmental drivers in the homestead ponds.
