This edition comprised papers selected from the 1st International Conference on Research in Engineering and Science Technology (IC-REST), held on October 10, 2023 (Universitas Hasanuddin, Gowa, Indonesia), which was the first meeting in the series of annual events hosted by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin.
