Author Description

As the leading expert on inscriptions from the city of Rome, Silvio Panciera has devoted his research to the epigraphic heritage with sacred content. The first part of his research results has now been published. They cover the ancient gods whose names start with the letters A to F. The volume includes addenda to the inscriptions previously published in the CIL as well as new discoveries of the past 85 years.
