This report drawson the recent empirical evidence to assess the extent to which land-related insitutions have improved in individual states and the impact of a range of land-related policies to identify areas of action by policymakers to ensure that the opportunities provided by modern technology and the convergence of interests visible in recent initiatives such as the National e-Governence Program, can be most effectively utilized.
