This book explains the traditional areas of competition law in the European Union - such as the prohibition of agreements which restrict competition, the prohibition of abuse of dominant position, and the rules on merger control. The book also describes other aspects of competition law which, today, play an essential role in regulating the conduct of undertakings and public authorities in the market.
