Montreal is an old city with many archives--corporate, religious, government, university, municipal, and others. Each archive was asked to select photographs from their collection that in some unique way reflected the history and style of Montreal. The result is a rare and wonderful celebration of Montreal over the last 100 years. The Montreal Photo Album is a tiny glimpse into the rich heritage of treasures from Montreal archives. Included are the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of the archives that contributed photographs to the book--an invitation to do some further exploring.
