In this audacious and riveting collection of interviews, Leigh Cato has brought together the experiences of over 80 women on 4 continents who have shared men as husbands and lovers. The only criteria were that Cato could speak to both the woman who had been left, and the woman she had been left for. These women of various backgrounds and ages discuss their own version of what happened and how their lives have changed. Some of their stories are tragic, and many are shaded with black humor, but most show remarkable courage and individual growth. There was a remarkable amount of similarity between their stories, though some were more articulate than others.
