In this audacious & riveting collection of interviews, Leigh Cato has brought together the experiences of over 80 women on 4 continents who have shared men as husbands & lovers. The only criteria were that Cato could speak to both the woman who had been left, & the woman she had been left for. These women of various backgrounds & ages discuss their own version of what happened & how their lives have changed. Some of their stories are tragic, & many are shaded with black humor, but most show remarkable courage & individual growth. There was a remarkable amount of similarity between their stories, though some were more articulate than others.
