The Lighter Side of Life is a collection of 240 cartoon strips that focus on nearly every aspect of life. Artist Peter Chin draws human characters as well as sea and land animals, robots, androids, cyborgs and other mechanical forms, primitive and prehistoric life, dinosaurs, aliens, science fiction and extraterrestrial life forms. He also draws fairy tale characters, mystical legends, and fictional superheroes. "I can virtually draw about anything from talking sharks and elephants to futuristic robots that enjoy a good DVD movie. They're scintillating and I call it The Lighter Side of Life because it depicts the funny side of logic in everyday life. It's lighthearted and anybody who understands simple English will be able to read and enjoy my book. I like to draw and keep my artwork simple. It also has a bit of satire, but I don't touch on subjects that are sensitive." Peter Chin of Malaysia has been drawing cartoons for over thirty years. He produced a few series of cartoons strips and compiled some into a collection, but has never before published any. He is already planning his next book, which will be a bit more controversial. The author wishes to thank his sister, Janie, for all her assistance in the production of this book. Publisher's website: http: //sbpra.com/PeterChin
