Several of those medical dictionaries which have preceded this possess great merit, and most of them have some merit which ours' does not possess. This must follow from the small size of the present vo lumefi But, small as it is, we believe it will be found to contain several useful kinds of information not to be met with in any other single work; and of those I am now to give some account.
