This book is not intended to hurt or offend anyone. The goal of this book is to share truth and spark an honest conversation amongst the religious community, holding us all accountable to do better and be better. God is calling us higher and we must address certain topics and issues head on. This book is just one perspective and overview of a preacher’s kid’s views on the state of the body of Christ today. May God speak to you on a personal level, and bring you revelation and understanding. About the Author Dana King has always been an unpredictable individual since her early arrival into this world. Born 3 months early, her parents were told she would have many deficits and delays, but God had other plans. Born and raised in the church, she grew up under Apostolic Pentecostal teachings and was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost by the time she was 12 years old. As she got older, she walked away from the church for some time but always remembered her roots and returned to God in her final college years. Now as an adult in her late twenties, her relationship with God continues to grow as she is on a lifelong journey to fulfill her purpose in Christ. Her long-term goals are to own and operate numerous homeless shelters throughout the United States, as well as educate, empower, and provide resources to the urban communities throughout America. She loves being outdoors as she grew up fishing and hunting with her family. Her favorite hobbies include traveling, all things outdoors, cooking, and reading. Much of her motivation and inspiration comes from watching her parents, who have been married for over 35 years. She is originally from Belleville, IL but her parents are from a small town in Arkansas, where she spent the majority of her childhood summers. She currently resides in St. Louis, MO.
