Describes field testsconducted on 51 building heating, ventilating and airconditioning rooftop (HVAC) units. Each test examined general rooftopcondition, control methods, combustion efficiency, and outside air leakage. Leakage isdefined as the outside air volume supplied to floor space with the rooftopunit in the heating mode and the supply fan operational. Reports conclusionsand makes recommendations for improved functioning of HVAC units.
