This book is about our Second Amentment right to "Keep and Bear Arms". It includes the legislative history of the militia going back to 1181 A.D. in England. It includes colonial laws, Federal Laws, State provisions for the right to "Keep and Bear Arms," over 40 court cases about gun rights, the Militia Act of 1792, the Uniform Militia Act of 1795, the Territory of Michigan - An Act to Organize the Militia, portions of the National Defense Act of 1916,the State Defense Forces Act of 1955, crime statistics, and much more. When I first introduce the book locally in 1998, it was a big hit with the readers and had more information in it than they expected. This book has over 110 references. Students have used this book for papers they have had to write in college.
