The present book deals with the possibilities and challenges of cooperation between India and her Neighbouring countries relating to areas of various economic aspects. The special focus is given on four key areas viz. Agriculture and Allied Activities; Trade, Finance and Development; Demography and Social Sector Issues; Sustainable Development & Environmental Issues. The book explores the possibility of development in different sectors of the economy towards fulfilling the SDGs through globalization and development cooperation, so that it can be beneficial for the people in the region for creating income-generating activities through overcoming the vicious cycle of poverty and inadequate access to the mainstream economy. The book also explores the possibility of localized sustainable development in different sectors as well as the states of the North Eastern Region through development cooperation towards benefits of the stakeholders not only in this region but also of the neighbouring countries.
