Author Description

Jasmyn's single mother, an Army reservist, is sent to Saudi Arabia at the start of the Persian Gulf War. Jas soon finds herself in charge of running the house and caring for her baby brother. Jas can't understand why her mother has a job that forces her to leave her children. This novel portrays the situation faced by thousands of single parents who served in Operation Desert Storm.
