About Desh Deepak Born at village Bahadurpur Jatt, District Haridwar and brought up in a countryside environment, Desh Deepak (Deepak Kumar) is an Administrative Officer by profession but by heart he's a writer, lyricist, musician and singer. His writings cover such untouched social aspects and issues that compel you to think, which distinguishes him from his contemporary young writers. His stories, written in an interesting form, attack the widespread evils and inequalities in the society sharply. Desh Deepak's stories deal with the realities and concerns of common man and not with any gods, goddesses or demons; realities which are bitter and with which a common man struggles every day. His first book 'Thalue' published by Hind Pocket Books had made him famous in the corridors of Hindi literary fraternity.
