Important Studies On The National Movement Mostly Lack Proper Examination Of Women S Participation In The Freedom Struggle.Contributions Of The Workers, Peasants And Even Tribal Have Now Found Adequate Coverage In The Nationalist Historiography. But One Searches In Vain For Proper Study Of Women S Participation In Nationalist Historiography. It Is Time To Examine This Subject And Its Contribution To The Freedom Movement In Proper Historical Perspective. A Study Of The Women Covered In This Series Brings To Light Very Clearly That Without Participation Of Women Our Struggle Would Have Lacked Its Full Vigour. There Were Quite A Few Aspects Of The Struggle Which Women Could Successfully Manage Where Man Would Have Failed.
