Provides a different presentation and practice orientation than other casebooks. The problem method simulates day-to-day problem solving and advocacy where the student is asked to perform the same functions as an administrative lawyer. It also covers the two basic procedural approaches in administrative law, rulemaking and adjudication, and then considers theoretical issues. Each section begins with a narrative description of the law followed by cases, statutes, regulations, and other materials one would consult in a practice to resolve issues.
