This module sets out practical steps for the improvement of the quality of mental health care including: establishing well functioning accreditation procedures; establishing standards for mental health services; monitoring the mental health service using standards documents and accreditation procedures; integrating quality improvement for mental health into service management and service delivery; Improving or even reforming services where necessary; developing a comprehensive policy and strategic plan for coordinating all actions and services related to mental; aligning funding to promote quality improvement.
