This text explores the state of mental health in schools and colleges today from the point of view of both educationalists and psychologists, thus providing a unique interdisciplinary perspective. It considers problems affecting both learners and leaders of learning (including teachers and headteachers) and cause and effect in the context of the very complex dynamic that exists between learners, leaders, the educational setting and educational policy.
