Postmonitions of a Peripatetic Professor is a colorful memoir by Peter Rose, an octogenarian sociologist, ethnographer, writer, teacher and world traveler. Here he describes his academic life and some of his extracurricular excursions. With a foreword by his former student, playwright and novelist Andrea Hairston, the narrative includes occasional extracts from his own previous writings.
