Iranian artist Farmanfarmaian is passionately inspired by the craftsmanship and aesthetics of her country. She is perhaps the only contemporary artist who has explored and combined the use of mirror mosaics, Islamic geometric patterns, and old and reverse-glass paintings in her works. This comprehensive monograph surveys the artist's complex and mesmerising works produced to date, some of which are found in notable museum and private collections.
