In association with the charity Canine Partners for Independence, this title tells the stories of 12 disabled people whose CPI-trained dogs are, for them, in extraordinary ways making their lives more bearable and fulfilled. CPI is a registered charity that helps disabled people to enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life with the help of specially trained dogs. These incredibly canine companions can perform up to 100 specialized commands from collecting a prescription from the chemist to calling a lift; he can even withdraw cash from the cash-point. This book pays tribute to our four-legged friends and to the every-day miracles they perform. Contributions from the books will be made to the charity.
