A desire to look attractive is no longer taken as a sign of vanity. In an economically, socially & sexually competitive world, a pleasing appearance is a necessity. Since face is the most exposed part of the body & the mouth a prominent feature, teeth are getting a greater share of attention. The patient‟s personality, along with the strength & harmony of the other facial features will determine how dominant the mouth will be in total composition. It is for that reason that the teeth & smile play a major role in whether we perceive the face of an individual as attractive or not
