Significant progress has been made in recent years in developing the use of peripheral blood as a source of stem cells for transplantation for patients with haematological and non-haematological malignancies. This book presents an overview of many of the scientific and technical advances that have been made, and discusses the clinical applications and results of transplants with blood-derived stem cells.
