DING DONG! presented original pieces of art at developmental stages, thereby giving a wider public direct access to the artists and their ideas. DING DONG! was instigated by the Senseo Art Initiative as a means of highlighting its involvement in the international art scene - an involvement that places great importance on the continuing exchange of ideas. This catalogue reviews the ideas that underlie the project, the prevailing circumstances and principles that enabled it to excite the international art world, and why DING DONG! became the talk of town. It presents all of the artists and their works together with the project team and highlights of the supporting program.
