Author Katy Foster shifts her Christian guidance all for the girls! The same sole purpose is still there -- lean wholly on the Bible, and start practicing at an early age. This Bible study guides girls (ideally ages 10 to 14) to read their Bible, and find comfort, peace, answers, and God's heart. While reading through the life of David, the study parallels the Scripture with the real life of a tween girl, including issues such as parents and obedience, honesty, friends, enemies, salvation, loneliness, acceptance, beauty, fear, stress, guilt, and courage. The study is divided into lessons that encourage journal writing, scripture memorization, prayer-time, cross-referencing scripture, and critical thinking in various life applications. The reader will cross-reference verses, reading through much of the First and Second Books of Samuel, sections of the First Book of Chronicles, chapters in the Book of Psalms, and links from various verses in the New Testament. A central point of knowing God more is repeatedly reminded to the reader throughout the study. Perfect for group studies, homeschool Bible curriculum, or as a personal devotion. The study can be completed within 14 weeks to 28 weeks, depending on the pace the reader chooses to take.
