This book is a mixture of stories, tips and recommendations that were born out of the Private Investigator Advice website located at www.PIADVICE.NET, which contains a collection of articles, podcasts and videos that I have created over several years.I’ve also included all the things I wish someone had told me before I entered the industry. At points, it may sound as though I am trying to convince you not to become a private investigator, but it is only because I want to be as transparent and authentic as possible.Becoming a private investigator led me to the life I now have, and there is value in the knowledge I have gathered over the years. I want to share it with other investigators, at whatever point in their journey they may be. Many of the chapters answer common (and sometimes not so common) questions that I have been asked over the years. My hope is that you will find each chapter helpful in your private investigating endeavors.I hope this book serves you well and that you recommend it to others that are thinking about entering the investigation industry or who are currently in it.
