This book offers an overview of current experimental therapies for tumours and autoimmune disease. The approaches described include use of tumor antigens and application of costimulatory molecules or transformed T-cell clones. Other topics are the obligatory immunomonitoring and the choice of suitable vectors for DNA vaccination. Early clinical experience is reported, and the necessary legal and regulatory provisions are discussed.
