This volume collects four moments of a long conversation held by Felipe Leal and Teodoro González de León between 1996 and 2013. This is a series of interviews for "La arquitectura en el espacio y en el tiempo" (Architecture in Space and Time), of Radio UNAM, y for a special TV program of Canal 22, both conducted by Leal. In them, both architects -colleagues and friends- exchange impressions on the meaning and relevance of architecture, its relevance for the organization of life in cities, and the challenges of its teaching and implementation. Through these conversations, the reader will be able to get closer to the professional profile of Teodoro González de León, a 20th-century humanist convinced of the social and artistic role that architecture plays in the construction of life in cities, and will also be able to learn details about the planning and execution of some of his emblematic works.
