The book covers the history and memory of the Grupo de Estudios Urbanos (GEU). Founded in 1980 and developed into a privileged interlocutor of the urban and economic policies of the last part of the 20th century, the GEU also should be considered as a key episode in the necessary enlargement the battle for civil rights. In this sense, to revisit GEU not only means to account for recent history, but also to discuss the present and lay solid foundations for the future. The book won the Premio Julio Vilamajó in the category "Mutaciones de Significado" in 2012.
