Toyoto gave the MR2 a complete makeover for 1990. Bigger, faster and in production twice as long as the first generation, it is no surprise to learn that the second type of MR2 was also a much better seller. Although manufacture ended in 1999, this generation is arguably the one that represents what the Toyota MR2 is all about for most people.
