The exhibition at the Nederlands Fotomuseum in Rotterdam is drawn from the Historical Photo Collection of the Georgian National Museum and shows a major part of the works of the prominent late 19th and early 20th century photographer Dimitri Ermakov... We are greatly honoured to present this catalogue. It is our first attempt to offer a comprehensive history of the development of photography in Georgia and to show a selection of the unique photographs kept in our collection and taken by distinguished travellers and photographers.
