Patty Fairfield successfully attempts to win a little electric car in a contest. She and her family decide to buy a summer home on the beach, and all of Patty's friends come up for a visit. Having just turned 19, Patty is not socially considered an adult, but her relationships are starting to get slightly more complicated. Patty's entertaining adventures are an entertaining look at a time when the automobile was considered new technology.
