Simon Waterford, horse trainer, is about to marry Mariana. His Uncle Geoff has discovered a secret about Simon's fiancée -- a secret which would wreck the wedding plans. When Geoff is killed in a post-race brawl, Mariana hopes that noone else knows the secret he held.
