Builds upon the concept that practicing physicians learn best when utilizing a case-driven format, and that factual knowledge and new developments in the field are best integrated into clinical practice through discussion of case management. The authors, all from Cleveland Clinic, present 76 contributions that cover topics including multidisciplinary skills for the internist, infectious disease, hematology and medical oncology, rheumatology, pulmonary and critical care medicine, endocrinology, nephrology and hypertension, gastroenterology, cardiology, after the boards (medical ethics, managed care, and computers and medicine), and a mock board simulation.
