Author Description

In this volume Hartmut Elsenhans, professor emeritus for international relations at the Institute of Political Sciences at the University of Leipzig, presents those arguments that are the sum and synthesis of his lifelong research on global relationships. Following the basic principle that the dynamics of global capitalism are only to be understood by placing them in their historical content, the author analyses the interlinked development of politics and capitalism on an universal scale.
