Living and working in Berlin, Chinese artist Ling Jian (born 1963) paints surreal and sometimes deliberately vulgar large-scale portraits, incorporating images of uniforms, weapons and even bunny ears into his hyper-realistic yet fantastic compositions. This monograph spans the artist's oeuvre of the past two decades.
