"Contemporary Arab American playwright Yussef El Guindi's works focus on the Arab/Muslim experience in the United States. In particular, his plays deal with the complex issues of Arabophobia, Islamophobia, media orientalism and bi-cultural issues faced by both immigrants and second-generation Arab Americans.
