Who wins, nature or nurture? Nature said that I was destined to be a statistic because I was raised without a father, had limited education, lived in the hood and had few employment opportunities. I was supposed to be strung out on drugs, in jail, or sleeping in my grave. Nurture said a mother's love, a praying grandmother, guardian angels and God was more than enough. I was born to be a prince but the streets tricked me into being a peasant. There is power in love, prayer and having people believe in you.
