Author Description

In this exploration of the good and evil of money, Ferguson brings to life a fictional character who is a Pastor at a poor church in eastern North Carolina. The Pastor's life changes when he is suddenly confronted by a parishioner who is so moved by the Pastor's sermons that he wants to donate a lot of money to the church. Unknowing and uncaring as to the origins of the money, the good Pastor only wanted to follow the path of Jesus in helping his fellow citizens. The year was 2008 and everywhere the Pastor looked, he saw economic devastation. His community needed financial help. While prayer and an old Bible were his tools of aid, the Pastor now had a new tool - money! As the money grew, so too did the power of his pulpit. What he did with the money and what the money did to him is an exploration into the good and evil of money.
