An old rock named Stoney, helps his best friend G, another old rock, find purpose in life by telling him about the incredible ways rocks have been used by God throughout history. There was a rock that gave water, twin rocks that were used to give us laws, and even Stoney was used to kill a GIANT! As they head toward Jerusalem, they encounter a rock group singing that almost got to cry out for Jesus. As they got closer to Jerusalem, an earthquake causes Stoney and G to become separated. They eventually find each other but when they do, G is devastated. He finds himself being used to cover the tomb of Jesus. But the next day becomes the best day of his life as he realizes his purpose was to be a part of the resurrection of Jesus. The lesson in this book is taken from the examples of the rocks and how they were each used to bring glory to God. The story of Stoney and G is meant to encourage people of all ages to reach out and love others.
