This book provides the background for understand the practice of polygamy by members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and charts new ground in the study of Mormon Fundamentalism since polygamy’s official discontinuation in 1904. The Allreds, the FLDS Church, the Kingstons, the LeBarons, the TLC Church, and other splinter groups are all scrutinized in this study.
