Sweet and carbonated, kombucha is a fermented tea. It's often promoted as a health drink, but does it actually improve health? Kombucha has good bacteria in it. Proven beneficial effects on human health have been linked to exposure to these microbes. As a result, kombucha has been linked to improvements in gastrointestinal health, psychological well-being, immunity, and liver function. More study is required to confirm these advantages, though.
