This is a practical unit, in which you will have a chance to apply the concepts learnt so far about software development. It introduces you to the Unified Process (UP) and its main characteristics, some of which will be present in the development followed in the case study units.In this unit you will learn how to carry out domain analysis to understand a real-world situation identifying the main business processes and representing them. You will explore how to decide on the scope of a software system to be developed, and elaborate on some of the main use cases for such a system. You will explore how to document the initial set of requirements using a template, and how to elicit detailed software functional and non-functional requirements and their fit criteria.
