Product description Deals with the necessity and difficulty of developing a comprehensive international regulatory framework for managing internationally significant risks associated with the transboundary transfer of hazardous technologies, products and substances. The ten articles are an outgrowth of the authors' participation in a panel at an American Society of International Law meeting, April 1985. The panel focused on the chemical accident at Bhopal, India, but the articles deal with general issues rather than specific incidents or situations, and have been updated during the long delay in publication.
