Working on this analysis revealed that there is a great deal of misunderstanding on the primary legislative strategies used by various jurisdictions to combat prostitution. Authors often gave widely varied accounts of the legal status of prostitution in a given nation. It follows that there was either a misconception or that it appeared to be. The primary issue stems from the differences in terminology used to characterize the definitions and legislative stances.The first thing we did was provide some clarification regarding the three primary methods for categorizing the jurisdictions.
