Akoopar, published in Gujarati in the year 2010, is a rich cultural text which handles simultaneously several themes. Prominent among them are the concern for ecology, the conservation of the environment and the due reverence for flora and fauna with reference to the region of Gir in particular and the whole of the planet Earth in general. It also makes an attempt to sensitize mankind to the ageold principle of 'Live and let live' with a change in focus by reversing it to 'Let live and live.'
