The report À Vision for new water management policy and legislation' describes proposed principles, policy changes and a phased approach to achieving our vision of a sustained and healthy water resource. Development of floodplain management policies will be undertaken during the second phase of the water management review. This document discusses what floodplain management is, the water management program's role and also discusses each issue separately.
