For society to grow and to develop through the use of land and resources, and yet maintain the quality of the environment, economic factors have to be considered in depth. This document is a compilation of the main addresses of this symposium taken either from documents submitted by the authors or verbatum transcripts later revised and approved by the authors. Also contains reports of the working sessions for the participants to address techniques, methods and nuances of integrating economic analysis with resource planning and management. Workshop A deals with sub-regional planning and Workshop B deals with regional planning within the framework of integrated resource management. Contains the reports as well as results of the workshops and main sessions.
